The course provides undergraduate students with an introduction to the field of comparative politics. The course covers concepts and topics such as state formation, modernization theory, democratic and authoritarian institutions, social cleavages, and democratic backsliding.

Thesis supervision

Supervising graduate students in their final master’s degree thesis project. Supervision includes both continuous individual feedback on students’ projects as well as general tutoring on the elements involved in doing academic research and managing larger projects.
